DESTINATION -Traveling along the Golden Triangle (Delhi-Agra-Jaipur) can immediately perk for travelers. Tourism services will start from December 1 that will allow tourists vehicles - buses and taxis - to travel in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana without stopping to pay the tax.

Taxes will be paid a centralized transportation office in Delhi. Tour operator on the certificate or sticker to identify the commercial vehicle from other vehicles.

Tourism secretary Sujit Banerjee said the project has been envisaged keeping in view the Commonwealth Games in 2010. "The pilot project for the Golden Triangle will begin from 1 December and we hope to expand the scheme to the rest of the country by 1 April," he said.

An indication of the popularity of the circuit is the fact that nearly 25 lakh people visit the Taj every year. In fact, the Taj and Jaipur forts circuit is the most popular for foreign tourists as well.
