DESTINATION -Guwahati is the largest and fastest growing city in the north-eastern India. Various places such as ancient temples, Brahmaputra and other natural features make it an attractive tourist place. Many nature reserves, natural scenery and hill station lying a few kilometers away from Guwahati.

For shopping you can go to the Fancy Bazaar where you can find grocery stores and retail. Paltan Bazaar has a traditional range of shops that sell clothing north-east. This market is located in the center near Guwahati Guwahati railway station and bus stand in the area. Many hotels, restaurants welcome you to accommodation and dining.
Ganeshguri Guwahati is located in the south and the newly built shopping centers, hotels, restaurants make it grow faster part of the city. If you are looking out for places with historical significance you can go to the weekly market called Beltola Bazaar. The people from the hills in Meghalaya khasi come here to sell local food.

The temples are interesting, markets and beautiful scenery offered by the Brahmaputra river call for a trip to Guwahati. To get a sense of the north-east India, Guwahati visit that offers a perfect blend of ethnic and cosmopolitan India.
