DESTINATION -Ministry of Culture and Tourism (Depbudpar) recognizes consumer tourism exhibition selling two destinations; Bandung and Yogyakarta in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, last week did not happen as expected.

He said the event called Holiday Festival Indonesia Jogja Ole, Ole Bandung was a protest of the exhibitors of tourism actors (travel agents) of two destinations: Bandung and Yogyakarta.

Pitana asserted in the event that it is only acting as facilitators to support the exhibitors to promote the cultivation destinations.

The tourism actors who participated in the event that cast a protest and demanded compensation to Depbudpar in charge of that activity.

Pitana itself says it has full potential to coordinate with all stakeholders so that the program established expectations.

According to him, demands appropriate compensation is not posted to his side because Depbudpar is merely a facilitator.

He argues, it is not unethical if the accommodation exhibitors borne by the state.

Indonesia Holiday Carnival! Ole! Jogja, Bandung was held as a form of tourism promotion of the two destinations Bandung and Yogyakarta in Malaysia are expected to capture both know the target market in Malaysia.
