DESTINATION -Short in one year, Great River Journey made a name for himself with the epic 8-day tour in the Yukon River. A unique world-class geotour begins in Whitehorse and unfolds eight days and more than 600 kilometers of desert, and travel by float plane riverboat, and allows guests to participate in activities such as wildlife viewing, bird watching, hiking, kayaking and cycling mountain.

This commitment to the preservation of First nations culture and history of the Great River Journey status as a Significant 28 Aboriginal Tour Operator, by Aboriginal Tourism Canada and the Canadian Tourism Commission. Nominated by colleagues and the tourism industry experts in Canada, 28 designates a significant experience of the people "is quite extraordinary ... they realize our traditions, heritage and culture," according to the Aboriginal Tourism Canada.

"This is the vision and work of four years Yukon First Nations and private sector partners with the support from all levels of government and the Yukon community."

Partners in this business is Kwanlin Dun First Nation, the Ta'an Kwäch'än Council, Selkirk First Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in and the nation. Chairman Ruth Massie, of Ta'an Kwäch'än Council, said, "We hope to welcome the Great River Journey to the guests in our land and our traditional cultural and historical displays.
