DESTINATION -Director of Marketing and Commerce Pertamina Achmad Faisal, Sunday, said Pertamina was reviewing the construction of two cold LPG terminal capacity 160,000 metric tons worth 600 million U.S. dollars.

LPG terminal will be built in Tanjung Sekong, Makkasar Peacock and this will increase the reliability of LPG infrastructure which is state owned, so after watching Achmad LPG unloading at sea Watermelon Bay, Lampung.

According to Faisal, if the construction of two terminals can be started simultaneously in 2010, the terminal has been operated 4-5 years later or about the year 2014-2015.

Each terminal unit has a capacity of 80,000 metric tons with an investment of about 300 million U.S. dollars.

He said the main considerations before building a terminal "Refrigerated" is the value of investment is quite high, reaching 300 million U.S. dollars per unit.

Currently, Pertamina has hired three boats each VLGC capacity of 45,000 metric tons of LPG which functioned as a "floating storage offloading (FSO) or a floating storage facility.

According to Faisal, boat rentals "Refrigerated" It was quite expensive between 17,000 U.S. dollars per day up to 35,000 U.S. dollars per day per unit depending on market conditions.
