DESTINATION -Awards in the world of tourism to enhance local competitiveness, recently an award given to the Pensacola Bay Area Convention & Visitors Bureau on Monday with a Visit Florida Flagler Awards, excellence in tourism marketing. Visit Florida, the state of the official tourism marketing company, submit an annual award to the Governor-42 Conference on Tourism. Pensacola received awards in the Creativity in Public Relations category for Pensacola Celebrity Chefs program.
Promote culinary tourism programs in the Pensacola area with a unique cuisine and local chefs through special events, marketing materials, and online at www.PensacolaCelebrityChefs.com.
The Pensacola Bay Area CVB is a finalist for three other categories for excellence in internet marketing, visitors guide and an annual fall festival campaign.
