People need their holidays, have to go and need to be refreshed.
On Wednesday afternoon, members of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Antique Auto Club came to the Lakeshore area to see the Cobia submarine in the Wisconsin Maritime Museum.
Years have been full of challenges for the tourism industry, in Manitowoc County and in the United States
Room tax revenue in the city of Manitowoc is not on about 18 percent for the first seven months compared with January 2009 through July 2008. In Two Rivers, room tax dollars are down nearly 40 percent.
Tourism is the third leading industry in the back of the Manitowoc County agriculture and manufacturing.
MAVCB receive about half the time for the purpose of promotion and marketing, with half going to the other two cities' coffers.
This also produced a new promotional video showing the port city of Manitowoc and Two Rivers.
