If you make a trip to tour Japan, one of the places that you should come is that Kyoto is a city located in the Yamashiro Basin, surrounded on 3 sides by mountains in the western part of Honshu Island, Japan. Because of this unique geography, Kyoto has hot summers and cold Winters. Kyoto is the capital of imperial Japan until 1868, until their status has been replaced by Tokyo. Kyoto was chosen as Japan's second most beautiful city for many years, only behind Sapporo. If Tokyo represents the modern Japanese life and vibrant, then Kyoto is the heart of traditional Japan.

Kyoto spared because of the large atom bomb at the end of World War II, this city is one of several cities in Japan to preserve the ancient palace, houses, temples and shrines. Kiyomizu Temple was the most popular tourist attraction in Kyoto for 20 years. Other places including the popular Arashiyama, Ginkakuji (the Golden Pavilion) and Kinkakuji (the Silver Pavilion), just to name a few. In Kyoto, we can stroll leisurely through the bamboo grove, cherry blossom garden or pine plantations, and at the same time take a deep breadth of fresh mountain air. Travel in Kyoto, it is possible for you to stumble into real Geisha Pontocho especially in Japan, the Geisha quarter in Kyoto. Pontocho known because many Geisha tea houses and traditional houses.
