Since the first millionth visitor arrived on 3 April 2009 from a woman named Malaysia Yap Ah mooi, the two millionth visitor on 20 June 2009. Wong Hoi Chi is the age of 23 years from Hong Kong who arrived in China Airlines Flight CI-with 932 in Kaohsiung Airport.

Mr Wong is a sophomore in the construction department of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is traveling with three high schools and their friends plan to spend three days and two nights in Kaohsiung and Kending. Although this is the lucky winner of the first visit to Taiwan, travel companions had many times here and love to come to Taiwan. Mr. Huang has been warmly welcomed by the staff of Bureau of Tourism to wait two millionth visitor arrived. Tourism Bureau presented him free tickets Taipei and Kaohsiung MRT, a brand famous pineapple cake Jiu Zhen Nan's Bakery in Kaohsiung, Taiwan's traditional dress of indigenous peoples and various kinds of special gifts and Taiwan products.
