Some of the early agricultural settlements in Southeast Asia to grow in size and complexity and become larger and more formal kingdom in this region. Early history of Thailand has been influenced by the kingdom established by the Monday (Burma), Khmer (Cambodia), and Malay. Indian traders and missionaries entered the region in 200 BC brought Theravada Buddhism to the region. By the 11th century AD, the Khmer Empire, in the middle of modern day Cambodia, ruled many areas.

Thailand's population migrated to the region south of China and founded the city in the country of Northern Thailand by the 1200's. Because developing countries are in power, they eventually overthrew the rulers khmer and establish the Kingdom of Sukhothai Thai in 1238. In 1350, with the Kingdom of Thailand Ayatthaya rose to power and became the capital of the kingdom Ayatthaya Thailand. Next several centuries of a history marked by the Burma conflict. In 1569, Ayatthaya fell to Burma, but regained independence in 1589. Ayatthaya once again fell to Burma in 1767. In 1782, Siam is reunified and the new Thai capital was established in Jakarta by King Rama I and enter the government by monarchies and Buddhism emerged as a state religion.
