Hazratbal mosque is located in the districts of Srinagar, India. In the west with a beautiful view of Dal Lake. Nishat beautiful face Bagh, the mosque offers a spectacular view of mountains and lakes distance. Temple is revered place Moi-e-Muqqadus (preserved sacred hair) of Prophet Mohammad. Public display of hair takes place only on religious occasions. Some other names that Hazrat Bal mosque Assar-e-Sharief, Madinat-us-Sani and Dargah Sharif. One of the most revered Muslim shrines, Hazratbal is abbreviation of love and respect of Muslims for the Prophet.

Hazratbal shrine of Kashmir, India date back to the early seventeenth century. The Subedar of Mughal Emperor Shahjahan, Sadiq Khan, Ishrat Mahal was built (Pleasure House), along with a garden in a mosque in 1623. However, when Shahjahan visited the place in 1634, he ordered the conversion of a palace house of prayer. However, it was only during the government of Emperor Aurangzeb Moi-e-Muqqadus arrived in Kashmir in 1699. At first, he kept in the temple Naqashbad Sahib, located in the city center. However, the unparalleled rush of the great people who flooded the temple to see Moi-e-Muqqades made the place seem quite small. Therefore, he decided to switch to the Moi-e-Muqqades to Hazratbal, then known as Sadiqabad.

Hazratbal mosque in Kashmir is a beautiful structure of immaculate white marble. Muslim Auqaf Trust, led by Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah start construction work on the structure of marble in 1968. Development took about eleven years old, and the mosque was completed in 1979. Friday prayers are offered at Hazratbal interesting Muslim population in large numbers. Hazratbal attraction to others is that he is the only domed mosque in Srinagar.
