People set to 'Niagra of India' Hogenakkal


Hogenakkal (Tamil Nadu), July 18: as the 'Niagara Falls of India', Hoegnakaal waterfall in Dharmapiri district in Karnataka is a tourist destination.


Waterfalls and lush green create a beautiful environment and a destination for tourists both domestic and foreign.

However, the weekend here more quickly as a place crowded with people, who come here to soak in water or shower to enjoy the boat.

In addition to providing a vacation, waterfall, known as healing people suffering from skin ailments that come here to take the herbal power shower.

"The water here is very good. Take the medication. The water comes from here to cover 350 kilometers distance.

Tourists, especially from Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh to come here to enjoy the boat on the lake, which receives the water fall.

"Lake is very good and we enjoy it. There is a fantastic place, and especially all the things that is very good. Fall in the valley here is quite impressive," said Beena, a tourist.

Travelers who want to disturb more upstream boat ride through the water falling from a high altitude.
