After several years had stopped, the promotion of art and culture Indonesia "Indian Day" was held back in the city tersebu, exactly one place disalah pride of the city, the University of Breme. This activity is held Perhimpunan Students Indonesia (PPI) Bremen supported by the Indonesian Consulate General in Hamburg.
Theme of the event is a description of the diversity of art and cultural objects and the beauty of Indonesian tourism. Indonesian Day cultural show performance, among other traditional Indonesian dances, puppet clever individual, konsert Angklung, rampak kendang photo exhibitions and crafts, even including the typical culinary Indonesia.
The event was attended by around 150 people a visitor. In his speech, Ambassador Berlin RI, Eddy Pratomo convey appreciation to the PPI and the Indonesian community in Bremen which is supported by KJRI Hamburg to provide English Day, as a real form of art and culture and promote tourism in the framework of Indonesia Visit Indonesia Year 2009. It is expected that similar events can be held in Bremen and other cities. Dubes RI also invites visitors to come to Indonesia to experience the beauty of nature and enjoy the rich culture of Indonesia directly.
The dance art and culture held in Theatersaal University of Bremen mempertunjukan such as dance Cilinaya, Saman dance and present the songs, and drum rampak Wayang Kancil. Also entertained the audience by offering konsert Angklung from students and students who joined Hamburg in Group Angklung Orchestra. Songs that are displayed, among other Kicir-kicir, Jali-jali, Eddelweis, Halo-Halo Bandung and Kopi Dangdut.
In this opportunity, the visitors also enjoy the typical food such as Indonesian gado-gado, typical pastry Indonesia, es cendol while viewing a photo exhibition that decorate the walls of buildings theater lobby Uni Bremen.
