Sheshan National Tourism Resort

Founded in 1994, this 64 sq km resort is one of 12 national holiday resort in China's level. This is the only place in Shanghai, which features both natural hills and forests.

Sheshan National Forest Park is the main attraction in the area. Covers about 4 sq km, the park is famous for its dense bamboo forests. Was assessed by the National Tourism Administration as a class 4-A tourist destination in 2000.

Although Shanghai is famous flat, because it is located in the Yangtze Delta plain, Sheshan in the dozen biggest hill to reach 99m above sea level, giving the undulating landscape that distinguishes it from all over the city.

With so many resorts that are available, East and West Sheshan has proved most popular among tourists. At 74 m, the former features a bamboo forest and camphor, while providing, on a sunny day, impressive views of Pudong's Oriental Pearl Tower, Jinmao Tower and Shanghai World Financial Center.

The Sheshan Cathedral, built about 85 years ago, was once the largest cathedral in the Far East. Shanghai Astronomical Observatory and Seismic Station is also located on a hill nearby.

The resort now has two golf clubs and racing-car track, offering an unforgettable experience for sports fans.

Songjiang Old Street
Buildings in Songjiang's Old Street said at least two times and two times as beautiful age in Zhouzhuang, Suzhou in neighboring countries.

Songjiang New City
In 2001, Shanghai city government began implementing a major program suburbs to rebuild the house that 1 million or more people.

Among the suburbs, only large-scale Songjiang New City, located north of Songjiang district, can actually be called a city. Leisure and Wushe Agriculture Sightseeing Park
Located on the water source conservation zones in the upper reaches of Huangpu River with an area of 11.19 square kilometers, this park has been designed as a showcase for the integration of agriculture and tourism. Its recreational facilities include farm where visitors can gather grapes or tomatoes. There is also an agricultural water, flower farms and zoos.

Visitors can choose between picking fruits and fresh vegetables or enjoy a home cooked meal in one of the local farmers residence. The park is also equipped with state-of-the-art meeting and entertainment facilities.
