DESTINATION -Cincinnati's arts and cultural institutions to survive against a recession.

"In 2007 we had a staff of 12. Now seven, so basically all people working two jobs," said Tamara Harkavy, director of works of art.

Cincinnati Art Museum, the staff fell 5 percent. Ensemble Theater of Cincinnati (ETC) has been cut three full-time job. "We have lost a valuable person," said ETC Artistic Director D. Lynn Meyers.

Cincinnati Opera, has been a decline in staff salaries and benefits and loss of staff positions, and other institutions reported similar steps.
