DESTINATION -Many popular venues remain open throughout the festival period, including the State Zoo where you can catch a glimpse of the world's largest rat species known as the Capybara. Peacock is one of the attractions at the KL Bird Park Kuala Lumpur.Para herbivores or Hydrochoerus Hydrochaeris Capybara is from the Amazon jungle in South America. Capybara adult weighs almost 50kg and is the same size of an adult goat. The herbivores eat the fruits and vegetables and the public can also see the young Capybara born at the zoo recently.
Other programs lined up at the State Zoo, including animal feeding sessions will take place on 11 and 3. You can feed animals such as seeing a deer, orangutans and elephants. The zoo is open 9-5 every day.
The cup at the Royal Selangor Visitor Center at Jalan Usahawan 6, step Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, has been certified by Guinness World Records as the largest in the world.
Giant tin cup is 1.987 meters tall and weighing 1557 kg. You can also take part in "Take A Giant Mug Shot" creative competition by submitting photos taken with the world's largest tin cup to the center. Winners will be awarded prizes.
Events latest attraction at the Royal Selangor Visitor Center is Comyns Archive.
Prints and drawings covering three centuries of design styles and cultural influences of the most important movement of the decorative arts, Baroque, Rococo, Neo Classical and Art Nouveau is now exhibited at the Royal Selangor Visitor Center. The center is open 9-5 every day.
Popular theme park, Sunway Lagoon, in Petaling Jaya, also will remain open 10-6 during the festive holidays.

Visitors can enjoy the "Angoscia Theater of Fear", "Terror Tunnel in 3D", "Ghost House 3DX", "The Freezer" and "Night at the Museum Live".
The KL Bird Park on Paradise Road, is one of the interesting places to visit. Among the newest attractions in the park is Bulbul Land.
Additional bird shows will take place in the park in conjunction with Hari Raya. Shows will be held at 10:30, 12:30 and 3:30. Park will be open 9-6.
Aquaria KLCC will also remain open during the holidays and on the first day of Hari Raya, it will open 30 minutes earlier at 10:30. The Aquaria will close at 7:15.
Muzium Negara will be closed only on the first day of Hari Raya.
