DESTINATION -Economic crisis still hitting particularly felt in Alabama's tourism industry.
Alabama Governors Conference on Tourism concluded Tuesday at the Grand Hotel Marriott Resort Spa and Golf Club. Baldwin beach and the surrounding area has become one of the country's main attractions, Lee Sentell, director of the Alabama Department of Tourism and Travel, said today. In June, 42 percent of Alabama lodging tax revenue comes from Baldwin County.
