According to him, pengusulan a world cultural heritage must be from the state government concerned, and the process takes long enough to be approved by UNESCO.

He explains, as the determination of world cultural heritage, indeed to give a big impact in terms of budget support from UNESCO, to protect and preserve the cultural heritage-waruisan in the state.

Instead, the government of the state and the region where the cultural heritage of the world are also required to maintain and preserve the heritage, he said.

Specifically in Indonesia, UNESCO will set batik as a world cultural heritage nonkebendaan, upon the suggestion the Government of Indonesia.

Batik will be the world's cultural heritage is set to seven UNESCO in Indonesia, after the rare Komodo animals, tropical forests, ancient sites Sangiran, Borobudur, Prambanan and traditional weapons keris.
