DESTINATION - Indonesian Spice Festival in Russia's Clothing


Indonesian Muslim fashion designer, Toto Supangat and Yuku Moko, an honor also graced the International Festival of Muslim clothing in exclusive show held at the Grand Hotel Kazan, Tatarstan Republic, Russian Federation.

"Clothing-Moslem Indonesia is very attractive and suitable for use by the Muslim women here as seen worn in this festival," said Nailya Zhiganshina which is the initiator of these activities and also the Chairman of the Association of Muslim Women of the Republic of Tatarstan.

"We'd love to work with Indonesia to develop the Muslim fashion industry in Tatarstan. It is an honor for us to Indonesia's participation in this festival," he said.

Wife of Moscow's Ambassador Hamid Awaludin, Andi Marcelya, who attended the festival, said that Islamic fashion industry is highly developed in Indonesia because Indonesia is one of the largest Muslim country in the world.

"Therefore, cooperation opportunities are enormous. Various types of Muslim clothing and basic materials also can be obtained easily in Indonesia," he said.
